This unique mosaic is crafted from discarded flip-flops, collected one by one from the beaches of Bali and cut into 1.4 cm squares. It is based on a portrait of Rena, a child from the Suwung trash pickers community.

AUGMENTED REALITY:
The artwork incorporates augmented reality, allowing viewers to see Rena “come to life” and hear her share her dream, accompanied by an original piano composition written and performed by the artist.
